A logo redesign for the Butte Environmental Council's RARE program done with Kaila Gottlieb.

Concept

RARE stands for Recycling and Rubbish Education. As a member of Tehama Group Communication ins Fall of 2013, we had the opportunity to choose what accounts we wanted to work on. Seeing what RARE wanted to do for the community drew me to help them with design work.

The idea behind this graphic an updated version of the last hand drawn logo, but giving more dimension. We wanted to keep the cartoonish feeling to attract kids to want to learn and help with recycling.
